1. What are the Warranties

For service and repairs: All new replaced parts and labour, come with 12 months return to base warrantee. For reconditioned engines: There is a 6 month / 10,000 mile return to base warrantee. This can be extended to 12 months / 12,000 miles if you upgrade to our gold standard engine. This means new pistons, re-bored cylinders, new valves. You will also need new turbo, dpf cleaned, new injectors and new water pump. Although this cost is significantly higher, it will return the vehicle back to almost its original like new condition.

Note: For any used parts there is a 30 day warrantee.

2. Do I have to pay upfront or a deposit

No we will not ask you to pay upfront or a deposit. You will pay when you come to inspect and collect your engine or vehicle. For shipped out items you will be required to pay before the shipment date.

3. Do reconditioned engines need to be driven different to start with

Yes, any reconditioned will need to be worn / bedded in. Keep the rev’s as low as possible. You will need to check the oil and water level every day for the 1st week. You will need to do a oil and oil filter service after 1,000 miles to validate the warrantee. It may also need a - for air-conditioning.

4. Do you offer 3rd party labour warrantee as I live far away from you

No, we do not offer 3rd party labour warrantee claims, unless agreed with a senior manager. This means taking the vehicle to other garages and asking us to pay them direct. All warranties are return to base at customer cost. If you had an engine supplied and fitted with ourselves, then you have a return to base parts and labour warrantee. If you purchased just an engine from ourselves and then paid another garage to fit it. You have only a product / engine warrantee and no 3rd party labour charges will be paid regardless of fault.
